Job summary

Oman Investment Authority seeks an HSSE-focused professional to conduct safety inspections across sites and shipyards, identify non-compliance, and assist in risk assessment and incident investigations. You will document findings, issue permits, support training, and maintain records to uphold safety standards.

The role requires 3–5 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field, with HSSE/environment certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering-related field or equivalent.
• HSSE-related certification would be a plus.
• Environment-related certification is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Perform safety inspections of all work sites and shipyards to ensure compliance.
• Identify non-compliance and unsafe practices and report to relevant parties.
• Generate inspection documentation and maintain records in the safety management database.
• Issue work permits and keep daily records of issued permits.
• Test equipment when required and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Participate in risk assessments and incident investigations to identify root causes.
• Assist in safety statistics, reporting, and awareness training.
• Follow HSSE policies, processes, and procedures consistently.
