Job summary

Delta Infralogistics Worldwide seeks an experienced HSE Advisor/Officer in Oman to lead site safety programs on oil & gas EPC/construction projects. The role focuses on implementing HSE policies, conducting risk assessments and ensuring PTW compliance across high-risk activities.

The candidate should have 5+ years of HSE experience, with at least 2 years in the Middle East, and hold NEBOSH IGC (IOSH preferred).

Qualifications

• HSE qualification required (diploma/bachelor) with NEBOSH IGC or equivalent.
• Experience in oil & gas, EPC or construction projects preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant HSE experience, including 2 years in the Middle East.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor HSE policies and procedures at site.
• Conduct risk assessments, HIRA, JSA/TRA and toolbox talks.
• Monitor PTW systems and ensure safety procedure compliance.
• Conduct site inspections, HSE audits and safety observations.
• Investigate incidents and near misses and recommend corrective actions.
• Monitor high-risk activities (working at height, confined spaces, hot work, lifting).
• Ensure PPE usage and compliance with safety standards.
• Deliver safety inductions and awareness training for employees and contractors.
• Monitor environmental controls, emergency preparedness and safe work practices.
• Maintain HSE reports, inspection records and safety documentation.

Job Title: HSE Advisor / HSE Officer

Industry: Oil & Gas / EPC / Construction
Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant HSE experience, including at least 2 years in the Middle East
Qualification: Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field
Certification: NEBOSH IGC or equivalent certification. IOSH is preferred.

Job Responsibilities:

• Monitor Permit to Work (PTW) systems and ensure compliance with safety procedures.
• Conduct regular site inspections, HSE audits and safety observations.
• Investigate incidents and near misses and recommend corrective actions.
• Monitor high-risk activities, including working at height, confined space entry, hot work and lifting operations.
• Ensure proper PPE usage and compliance with site safety standards.
• Conduct safety inductions and awareness training for employees and contractors.
• Monitor environmental controls, emergency preparedness and safe work practices.
• Maintain HSE reports, inspection records and safety documentation.

Candidate Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of relevant HSE experience.
• At least 2 years of Middle East experience.
• Minimum 3 years of HSSE experience in a comparable scope of work.
• NEBOSH IGC or equivalent certification.
• Experience in Oil & Gas, EPC or construction projects is preferred.
• Good knowledge of risk assessment, PTW, incident investigation and HSE compliance.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
