Job summary

Crowne Plaza Resort Salalah in Salalah, Oman, is seeking a Financial Accountant to support hotel financial operations, ensure accurate records, timely reconciliations, and strong internal controls in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

You will handle daily, monthly, and annual financial reporting, GL and intercompany reconciliations, budgeting and variance analysis, and collaborate with operational teams to drive sound business decisions, while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of accounting experience, preferably in hotel/hospitality.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, reconciliations and internal controls.
• Experience with Opera and hotel financial systems is an advantage.
• Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate accounting records and complete reconciliations.
• Assist with daily, monthly and annual financial reports.
• Perform bank, balance sheet and general ledger reconciliations.
• Review hotel revenues across departments and ensure proper coding.
• Support month-end/year-end closing and budgeting processes.
• Assist audits and ensure compliance with Oman tax and VAT.
