Job summary

ConFlip in Salalah, Oman, seeks a Junior Accountant to manage bookkeeping, financial statements, budgeting, and forecasting. You will handle payroll, tax prep, and assist auditors, supporting accuracy in monthly closings.

The ideal candidate has a accounting background, 1-2 years’ experience, and proficiency with QuickBooks and MS Office. Accommodation is provided, biometric passport is required or to be obtained.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.
• 1-2 years of accounting experience, hospitality preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records of financial transactions.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Monitor accounts payable/receivable and ensure timely payments.
• Reconcile bank statements and other accounts regularly.
• Process payroll for employees.
• Prepare tax returns and assist with audits.
• Coordinate with external auditors during year-end audits.
