St. Regis Hotels & Resorts in Al Mouj, Muscat, Oman is seeking a Non-Management Maintenance Engineer to respond to guest repair requests and perform preventive maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building systems.

This full‑time role supports daily hotel operations with focus on service quality and reliability. The position requires basic carpentry, painting, safety compliance, and a valid driver’s license; prior hotel engineering experience is beneficial for building a strong guest

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Experience in general maintenance and painting helpful.
Hotel engineering or maintenance background a plus.

Responsabilités

Respond to and attend to guest repair requests.
Communicate with guests to resolve maintenance issues.
Perform preventive maintenance on tools and kitchen and mechanical room equipment.
Inspect tools and equipment; locate and operate shut‑offs for facilities.
Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts as needed.
Follow safety policies; report hazards and injuries; complete safety training.
Program TV's and perform general engineering inventory duties.
Use Lockout/Tagout system before maintenance work.
Move, lift, and carry objects up to 50 pounds; climb stairs and ladders.
