Job summary

Digital Diffusion is seeking an Installation & Support Technician to join our team and assist with holographic and immersive technology at client sites, events, and activations. The role covers setup, testing, maintenance, and dismantling, with emphasis on safe handling of equipment and on-site coordination.

You will work evenings or weekends as needed to support project schedules, while ensuring high-quality execution and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of wiring, mounting tools and technical installation work.
• Ability to lift and transport equipment safely and efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and problem solving.
• Organized, dependable and able to follow instructions on-site.
• Willingness to work flexible hours for events and installations.
• Commitment to safety procedures and confidentiality.
• Experience in installations, events or AV support is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install holographic systems, mounts, wiring and related equipment.
• Test devices and troubleshoot on-site during events.
• Dismantle and pack equipment after projects.
• Assist with site surveys and equipment placement planning.
• Coordinate with team leads, engineers and installation staff.
• Keep tools and cables organized and ready for use.
• Provide on-site support to clients when needed.
• Report issues or maintenance needs promptly.
• Support logistics and operational tasks during events.
