Job summary

SThree is looking for a General Manager - MRO Operational Excellence based in Al Buraymi Governorate, Oman. This senior role involves driving operational excellence within the MRO function and aligning cross-functional teams to improve shipbuilding processes. Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, with at least 18 years of experience in shipyards and strong leadership capabilities. Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of overall professional experience within shipyards, including ship/rig repair, fabrication, or new build environments.
• At least 10 years of experience within the shipbuilding or ship repair industry with demonstrable leadership in operations or project delivery.
• Strong exposure to large-scale MRO operations, complex project environments, and multi-disciplinary coordination.

Responsibilities

• Drive operational excellence, efficiency, and continual improvement across the MRO function.
• Lead transformation initiatives and embed best practices within shipyard operations.
• Develop, implement, and monitor key performance indicators related to MRO projects.
