Job summary

FlapKap is recruiting a senior leader to build and run its CMA-regulated private direct financing fund in Saudi Arabia. As Head of Asset Management and Managing Director, you will shape the investment strategy, risk framework and governance while collaborating with legal, compliance and leadership teams.

You will raise capital, manage relationships with investors, and oversee portfolio origination, underwriting, monitoring and collections, ensuring CMA compliance and strong stakeholder

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in asset management, private credit, direct lending, SME banking or investment banking with significant Saudi market exposure.
• Proven track record leading teams and managing investment portfolios or funds.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi regulatory environment and CMA regulations.

• Tailor the fund's investment strategy, credit policy and risk framework for SME direct financing in Saudi market.

The fund will give Saudi SMEs flexible, growth-focused financing. It supports the Kingdom's Vision 2030 goal of strengthening the SME sector and widening access to finance.

What is this role?

We are looking for a senior leader to build and lead the fund from day one as its Head of Asset Management and Managing Director.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of experience in asset management, private credit, direct lending, SME banking or investment banking, with significant experience in the Saudi market


• A proven record of leading teams and managing investment portfolios or funds


• Strong knowledge of the Saudi regulatory environment and CMA regulations


• CMA qualification certificates, or eligibility to be registered as a CMA-registered person in a senior role, are strongly preferred


• Established relationships with Saudi investors, banks and financial institutions


• A bachelor's degree in finance, economics or a related field; CFA, an MBA or an equivalent qualification is a plus


• Fluency in Arabic and English
