Job summary

Hitachi Energy Ltd. seeks a motivated GIS I&C Supervisor to cover all activities required to enable switching systems to be installed, repaired and faults eliminated.

You will be responsible for installation of high voltage systems worldwide for PGHV, representing PGHV at installation sites with technical knowledge and ensuring cost-effective performance. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• 2-5 years GIS experience preferred.
• SF6 GAS-Handling and PGHV Transmission & Sub transmission GIS knowledge preferred.
• MS Project proficiency required.
• Proficiency in English (spoken & written) required.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out installation and maintenance work independently.
• Ensuring compliance with installation requirements and safety guidelines.
• Managing red-mark drawings/documents for changes during installation.
• Advising the sub-supplier's installation superintendent in planning and coordination of the workforce.
• Cooperating with PG Project Manager on status of completed and non-completed work.
• Inspecting arriving material for completeness and possible damage; coordinating material handling.
• Issuing non-conformance reports for damaged or missing equipment.
• Supervising final installation and commissioning tests and documentation.
• Coordinating loop check activities and participating in site meetings as requested.
• Responsible for competent execution of tasks.
• Carrying out tasks assigned by management to fulfil job requirements.
• Ensuring compliance with applicable regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
• Upholding Hitachi Energy's safety and integrity values.
