Dkhoon Emirates in Oman seeks a detail-oriented General Accountant to manage daily accounting operations, maintain accurate financial records, and assist in preparing financial statements and reports. • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 6–8 years of relevant experience in general accounting.
• Experience in retail, FMCG, perfume, cosmetics, or trading companies is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, reconciliations, and month-end closing.
• Familiarity with tax regulations, VAT, and statutory reporting requirements applicable to the relevant country.

Responsabilidades

• Manage daily accounting transactions, including journal entries, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, accounting schedules, and supporting documentation.
• Perform bank reconciliations, cash reconciliations, and account reconciliations on a regular basis.
• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Monitor customer and supplier balances and follow up on outstanding payments and receivables.
• Reconcile inventory accounts and coordinate with warehouse and operations teams to investigate discrepancies.
• Monitor expenses, review invoices, and ensure proper cost allocation and documentation.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Ensure compliance with applicable tax regulations, accounting standards, and company financial policies.
• Support internal and external audits by providing the required financial records and documentation.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and smooth accounting operations.
• Identify discrepancies, investigate accounting variances, and recommend improvements to accounting procedures.
