Job summary

Confidential Company in Muscat is seeking an experienced accountant to manage day-to-day accounting and financial transactions, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and bank reconciliations.

You will prepare MIS reports and financial statements, support month-end and year-end closings, budgeting and variance analysis, and coordinate with internal/external auditors to ensure statutory compliance while maintaining accurate accounting records.

Qualifications

• CA/CMA/ACCA with B.Com or M.Com.
• 3–15 years of relevant experience.
• Strong proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/Accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting and financial transactions.
• Handle General Ledger, AP, AR, and Bank Reconciliation.
• Prepare MIS reports, financial statements, and management reports.
• Support month-end and year-end closing, budgeting and variance analysis.
• Coordinate with internal/external auditors and ensure statutory compliance.
• Ensure accuracy of accounting records and timely financial reporting.
