Job summary

Amentum seeks a Fuels Manager/Alternate Site Manager to lead the fuels department, manage asset lifecycles, and ensure compliance with USAFCENT requirements across locations. You will direct inspections, maintenance, and reporting while guiding a diverse team and coordinating with program management.

The role demands strong leadership, effective communication, and willingness to travel to operate across sites worldwide, including mission-critical environments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of specialized fuels hydrant operations experience.
• Minimum 3 years in logistics, project management, operations management or facilities management.
• Two years of supervisory experience in fuel hydrants operations with emphasis on operations and environmental compliance.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET US Government Clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required; High School Diploma or equivalent mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Provide functional leadership for fuels department personnel and manage assets.
• Oversee asset receipts, storage, security, and inspections; ensure timely reporting to USAFCENT A4/RF.
• Coordinate with USAFCENT on requirements and revisions of maintenance actions; prepare management reports.
• Develop, implement, and revise fuels SOPs, work instructions, and training plans.
• Conduct site visits, monitor performance, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental requirements.
