Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Fuels Manager (FM)/Alternate Site Manager (ASM) to lead the FUELS department and manage assets, inspections, and deployments in support of USAFCENT. The role emphasizes program quality assurance under ISO 9000 standards, tight coordination with sites, and ensuring readiness and compliance across locations.

Qualifications

• Six (6) years of specialized experience in fuels hydrant operations and maintenance of bulk petroleum storage terminals.
• Three (3) years of experience in logistics, project management, operations management or facilities management/maintenance.
• Two (2) years of supervisory experience in fuel hydrants operations with emphasis on operations and environmental compliance.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET US Government Clearance (US Citizenship required).
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required; Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary liaison between Amentum sites and USAFCENT on FUELS issues.
• Oversee reconstitution and preservation plans for FUELS per requirements and PWS.
• Track FUELS deployments and ensure timely delivery of assets.
• Provide guidance on revisions of FUELS maintenance actions per Air Force Publications and PWS.
• Prepare reports and briefings for management and customers.
• Develop and implement FUELS SOPs, WIs, and Training Plans.
