Job summary

Amentum in Thumrait, Oman, is seeking a Fuels Manager/Alternate Site Manager to lead the FUELS Department and oversee asset management, maintenance, and compliance with USAFCENT requirements.

You will manage personnel, daily operations, and reporting, develop SOPs, and coordinate with the PMO and US authorities while ensuring safety and quality across multiple sites.

This on-site, full-time role demands a seasoned supervisor willing to travel and adapt to diverse environments in the Middle East.

Qualifications

• Minimum six years of specialized experience in fuels hydrant operations and bulk petroleum storage.
• Three years in logistics, project/operations/facilities management.
• Ability to obtain SECRET US Government Clearance; US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary liaison between Amentum sites and USAFCENT on FUELS issues.
• Oversee reconstitution, calibration, and testing of fuel systems and hoses.
• Prepare reports and briefings for PMO and USAF; develop SOPs and training plans.
• Manage site operations, staff, and support services; supervise a team.
