Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Fuels Manager (FM)/Alternate Site Manager (ASM) to lead the FUELS Department, oversight of assets, storage, maintenance, and deployment to meet USAFCENT requirements. You will coordinate site operations, supervise a diverse team, ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards, and prepare management reports.

A SECRET clearance is required; a high school diploma is mandatory, a Bachelor's degree is preferred, and you must be willing to travel

Qualifications

• Minimum six years of specialized fuels hydrant operations and bulk storage maintenance.
• At least three years in logistics, project or facilities management.
• Two years supervisory experience in fuel hydrants operations.
• Must obtain SECRET US Government Clearance (US citizenship required).
• High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's preferred.

Responsibilities

• Liaise between Amentum sites and USAFCENT on FUELS issues.
• Oversee reconstitution plans, calibration, testing of pumping systems.
• Track deployments and ensure timely asset delivery.
• Provide management reports and briefings.
• Develop and revise FUELS SOPs, work instructions and training plans.
• Perform site visits and support daily operations.
• Supervise staff and manage labor force at location.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and quality standards.
• Travel domestically and internationally as required.
• Perform duties in Site Manager's absence.
