Job summary

ByteGrid Talent Services seeks a Florist Assistant in Nizwa, Oman. You will work closely with our experienced florists to create beautiful arrangements and deliver exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily shop operations, preparing floral materials, and arranging bouquets and centerpieces for events such as weddings and corporate functions. The ideal candidate has creativity, attention to detail, strong interpersonal skills, and stamina for long hours;

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a flower shop or similar environment preferred.
• Creativity with an eye for design and attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Physical stamina to stand and lift up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the daily operations of the flower shop including cleaning, organizing, and restocking inventory.
• Preparing floral materials such as cutting flowers, conditioning them, and arranging them into bouquets and centerpieces.
• Assisting with floral design for weddings, parties, and corporate functions.
• Greeting customers and providing excellent customer service by answering questions, taking orders, and making recommendations.
• Maintaining accurate records of sales and inventory levels.
• Ensuring that all floral arrangements are properly cared for and maintained to ensure their freshness and longevity.
• Adhering to health and safety guidelines when handling flowers and other materials.
