Job summary

Responsibilities include assisting with daily shop operations, preparing floral materials, and arranging bouquets and centerpieces for events such as weddings and corporate functions. The ideal candidate has creativity, attention to detail, strong interpersonal skills, and stamina for long hours;

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a flower shop or similar environment preferred.
• Creativity with an eye for design and attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Physical stamina to stand and lift up to 25 lbs.

• Assisting with floral design for weddings, parties, and corporate functions.

• Maintaining accurate records of sales and inventory levels.
• Ensuring that all floral arrangements are properly cared for and maintained to ensure their freshness and longevity.
• Adhering to health and safety guidelines when handling flowers and other materials.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting with the daily operations of the flower shop including cleaning organizing and restocking inventory
• Preparing floral materials such as cutting flowers conditioning them and arranging them into bouquets and centerpieces
• Assisting with floral design for special events such as weddings parties and corporate functions
• Greeting customers and providing excellent customer service by answering questions taking orders and making recommendations
• Maintaining accurate records of sales and inventory levels
• Ensuring that all floral arrangements are properly cared for and maintained to ensure their freshness and longevity
• Adhering to health and safety guidelines when handling flowers and other materials

Requirements

• Prior experience working in a flower shop or similar environment is preferred
• Creativity with an eye for design and attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to provide outstanding customer service
• Physical stamina to work on your feet for extended periods of time and lift heavy objects up to 25 lbs
• Flexibility to work weekends evenings and holidays as needed
• Knowledge of different types of flowers plants and their care is a plus

Salary

1100$ per month negotiable based on experience
