Job summary

Experience is seeking an experienced Feed Mill Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a feed mill facility in Oman, ensuring safe, efficient production and strict quality standards. You will lead production planning, monitor KPIs, and optimize raw material use, while mentoring the operations team.

The role requires hands-on knowledge of feed ingredients, formulations, and equipment, plus strong leadership and problem-solving abilities to drive continuous improvement in a manufacturing

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing operations within a feed mill facility.
• Strong knowledge of feed mill systems, equipment, and production processes.
• Hands-on experience with raw materials, feed ingredients, formulations, and feed manufacturing operations.
• Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Engineering, Animal Science, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Manage the overall operations of the feed mill to ensure safe, efficient, and uninterrupted production.
• Oversee feed manufacturing processes, ensuring production targets, quality standards, and operational KPIs are achieved.
• Monitor and optimize feed mill systems, equipment, and production performance.
• Ensure the effective utilization of raw materials and maintain appropriate inventory levels.
• Supervise preventive maintenance activities and coordinate equipment repairs to minimize downtime.
• Implement and maintain quality assurance, food safety, and operational compliance standards.
• Lead production planning, scheduling, and resource allocation to maximize operational efficiency.
• Monitor production costs and identify opportunities for process improvement and cost optimization.
• Prepare operational reports, production analyses, and performance dashboards for management.
• Lead, develop, and mentor production and operations teams while promoting a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
