InterContinental Muscat is seeking a poised, confident F&B Hostess to be the welcoming face of Trader Vic’s Restaurant. This fast-paced French Polynesian outlet offers a sophisticated yet inviting atmosphere, perfect for guests to relax, connect, and enjoy exotic cocktails and an international menu.

You will greet guests, manage reservations, escort guests to tables, and coordinate with service and kitchen teams to ensure smooth operations, while upholding brand standards and grooming.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a hostess or guest-facing hospitality role preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Well-groomed appearance with a confident and welcoming presence.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.

This fast‑paced, French Polynesian outlet is celebrated for its sophisticated yet inviting atmosphere – a perfect space for guests to relax, connect, and enjoy exotic cocktails and international menu has become a favourite destination with locations around the globe.

In this role, you will create exceptional first and last impressions by greeting guests warmly, managing reservations efficiently, and ensuring a seamless flow of service in alignment with InterContinental brand standards.

Your Day to Day

• Welcome guests with professionalism, warmth, and a genuine luxury attitude
• Manage reservations, waiting lists, and table assignments accurately and efficiently
• Escort guests to their tables and present menus in line with service standards
• Communicate effectively with the service and kitchen teams to ensure smooth operations
• Anticipate guest needs and respond to requests with confidence and courtesy
• Handle guest inquiries and feedback with empathy and solution-focused service
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and visual standards at the host desk and restaurant entrance

What We Need From You
