The role requires 5 years as a Director of F&B, strong international experience, and excellent English communication. A second language is a plus, with a focus on guest satisfaction and team development in a premium hotel setting.

Qualifications

• 5 years' experience as Director of F&B.
• International experience across the Gulf region and Europe is essential.
• Sound training in various departments in international luxury hotels.
• English - excellent oral and written skills.
• Additional language - beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Participate in development and preparation of hotels strategic plan.
• Prepare budget and monitor revenues.
• Profit and Loss responsibility.
• Coordinate with Revenue Management and Sales to maximize F&B occupancy, rates, average check and profits.
• Optimize revenue by sales-promoting activities and controlling Revenue Management to achieve best Market Share.
• Control the duty roster for sub departments ensuring quality and cost efficiency.
• Oversee labor cost controls within budget and occupancy variances.
• Conduct interviews with possible future employees.
• Responsible for control of all operational tasks and delegation.
• Re-evaluate workflows to improve organization.
• Implement and evaluate procedures and policies.
• Ensure clear communications with other department heads.
• Create Career Development plans for employees as part of Talent Pool/High Potentials.
• Organize departmental meetings.
• Communicate strategy and targets to department heads and line staff and ensure implementation.
• Ensure up-to-date safety procedures with Fire & Safety team.
• Daily walk-throughs to ensure quality standards and cleanliness.
• Control the technical situation of departments in rooms divisions.
• Maintain high visibility with guests and employees.
• Maintain 85% LQA scoring.
• Manager on Duty weekdays and weekends.
• GM responsibility in absence.
