Job summary

Crowne Plaza Muscat OCEC, part of IHG Hotels & Resorts, invites an experienced F&B Captain to lead a high-performing team in a five-star outlet. You will supervise service staff, ensure flawless guest service, and uphold brand standards across all touchpoints.

This role requires 3–5 years in F&B service with 1–2 in supervision, a hospitality degree, and fluency in English (Arabic a plus). You’ll collaborate with Outlet, Bar, Kitchen, and Banquet teams to deliver memorable experiences and drive

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in hospitality or related field.
• 3–5 years of F&B service experience, including 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
• Experience in international hotels or luxury F&B outlets preferred.
• Fluency in English; Arabic is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise service staff to ensure professional, courteous guest service.
• Monitor quality of food and beverage service, presentation, and temperature.
• Greet guests and handle inquiries or complaints professionally.
• Provide menu knowledge to staff and guests, including ingredients and pairings.
• Lead and train F&B attendants and junior staff during shifts.
• Ensure compliance with IHG standards, health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
• Oversee cash handling, billing, and POS accuracy.
• Coordinate with Outlet, Bar, Kitchen, and Banquet teams for smooth service.
