Job summary

Talent Arabia in Oman seeks an experienced Project Recovery Lead / Delivery Director to assess distressed IT initiatives, establish strict delivery controls, and drive structured turnaround roadmaps. You will work with executives, clients, and delivery teams to identify risks, manage blockers, and align projects to successful delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, MIS or related field.
• Minimum 12 years of IT project management, program delivery, or executive leadership.
• Strong expertise in project recovery, turnaround management, delivery control, and project assessment.
• Experience in recovery planning, prioritization, risk mitigation, and roadmap oversight.
• Strong risk identification, blocker management, root-cause analysis, and problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to provide clear executive-level reporting and stakeholder communication.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and decisive decision-making in high-pressure environments.
• Professional availability for full-time deployment in Oman.

Responsibilities

• Assess distressed IT initiatives and establish rigorous delivery controls.
• Define recovery priorities and oversee comprehensive recovery roadmaps.
• Monitor milestones, manage risks and blockers, and report to senior leadership.
• Lead cross-functional teams and manage vendor relationships during turnaround.
• Implement corrective actions, risk mitigation, and governance frameworks.
• Conduct root-cause analyses and institutionalize best PMO practices.
• Ensure adherence to budget, security standards, and revised timelines.
