Job summary

OQ in Oman (Muscat) is seeking a Senior ERM Manager to safeguard organizational value and align risk management with strategic goals. You will lead ERM activities, embed risk appetite into planning, and work with cross-functional teams to ensure robust controls and continuity.

The role requires extensive oil and gas risk management experience, excellent stakeholder skills, and the ability to translate complex risks into actionable strategies. A strategic, collaborative leader is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, risk management, or a related field.
• Master's degree preferred and relevant certifications (COSO ERM, CRM, PMI-RMP).
• 10 years of relevant experience in oil and gas risk management.
• Ability to translate complex risk concepts into actionable strategies.
• Knowledge of enterprise risk management principles, methodologies and best practices.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with senior leaders and operational teams.

Responsibilities

• Support leadership in embedding ERM into strategy, planning, and decision-making.
• Define consistent risk criteria and maintain dynamic risk profiles and portfolio view.
• Lead or support regular risk assessments across strategic, financial, operational, and compliance domains.
• Facilitate identification of risks and conduct detailed risk assessments.
