Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Admin, Energy Management or related field.
• 10 years in corporate finance, planning, strategy or treasury in energy/oil & gas.
• CFA/CTP/FRM certifications preferred.
• Advanced corporate finance, valuation, and financial modelling knowledge.
• ERP experience (SAP/Hyperion) and data analysis tools (Python/R/MATLAB).
• IFRS knowledge and ability to translate energy data into reporting.

Responsibilities

• Develop oil price forecasts across short, medium and long horizons.
• Provide regular analyses on energy market trends, regulations and geopolitics.
• Assess impact of international energy standards on reporting and strategy.
• Interpret supply, demand, inventories and trade flows to identify trends.
• Monitor energy stats methodologies and maintain measurement consistency.
• Collect and interpret large datasets (government, Bloomberg, industry) for strategy.
• Compare company data with international sources for accuracy.
• Conduct scenario planning and sensitivity analyses for finance and cash flow.
• Build quantitative models (econometric, time series, Monte Carlo) in Python/Matlab/VBA.
• Formulate strategies to optimize capital structure and liquidity under market changes.
• Translate energy data updates into actionable internal reports; present clearly.
• Mentor junior staff and lead cross-functional initiatives to improve processes.
