Job summary

Saudi Aramco seeks a Digital & IT Strategy Consultant to join the Strategy and Investment Department. You will act as an IT strategic advisor, shaping long-term digital and IT priorities and leading capability development across the enterprise.

You will collaborate with senior leadership to translate market trends into actionable plans, perform financial modeling for IT investments, and design governance frameworks to ensure execution excellence and strong ROI. This role is based in Saudi Arabia.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Digital & Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Communication Engineering or Software Engineering.
• Master’s degree in Digital & Information Technology, Engineering related fields, or Business Administration. PhD is preferred.
• 15+ years of experience in Digital/IT domain and strategic advisory role, market intelligence, and technology roadmap implementation in large, complex organizations (preferably energy, industrial, or global sectors).
• Deep technical expertise in at least one of: Data & AI, Telecom, Computing (cloud/edge/HPC) and ERP (enterprise systems, integrations).
• Proven track record of advising executive leadership on technology-driven strategy, designing execution frameworks, and leading market intelligence programs.
• Ability to translate strategic priorities into actionable plans, balancing innovation with operational feasibility and financial rigor.
• Experience in strategic planning frameworks (SWOT, scenario planning), market intelligence methodologies, execution governance, financial modeling tools (Excel, SAP, Power BI), and investment governance standards (ROI, NPV).

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine Saudi Aramco’s Digital & IT strategy, aligning long-term priorities with emerging technologies and industry benchmarks.
• Provide strategic advisory to senior leadership by translating market trends and disruptions into priorities.
• Conduct financial modeling and scenario analysis for digital/IT investments.
• Design execution frameworks for strategic initiatives and monitor progress via KPIs and milestones.
• Conduct market intelligence and scenario planning to identify risks and opportunities.
• Collaborate with technical teams to translate priorities into implementation roadmaps and resolve bottlenecks.
• Benchmark global best practices and adapt frameworks to Aramco’s context.
• Lead capability assessments and recommend targeted improvements.
