Job summary

Integrated Power Systems LLC is seeking an electrical testing and commissioning professional to service LV/MV panels, control panels, and motor starters on site in Oman. The role requires hands-on expertise with VFDs, CPC 100 testing, and relay verification, plus strong fault-finding and report-writing skills.

Candidates should have 3–5 years of experience, a degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, and be willing to travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in electrical testing, commissioning, or maintenance.
• Hands-on skills in LV/MV panel maintenance, VFD programming, and starter troubleshooting.
• Practical experience with CPC 100, relay testing, and general electrical test equipment.
• Strong fault-finding, report-writing, and schematic/single-line diagram reading skills.
• Willingness to travel and work on site.
• Preferred: Thermography or power quality certification, or OEM training on CPC 100, relay test sets, or VFDs.

Responsibilities

• Service and maintain LV and MV panels, control panels, DOL and Star-Delta starters, and troubleshoot faults.
• Program, commission, and troubleshoot VFD panels.
• Perform insulation resistance and micro-ohm meter testing on cables, motors, busbars, and breakers.
• Test dry-type and oil-type transformers, including ratio, winding resistance, vector group, insulation, magnetizing current, and oil sample checks.
• Test protection relays, including secondary injection and setting verification.
• Use the CPC 100 for CT/VT and transformer testing.
• Conduct thermography surveys and power quality analysis, and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare accurate test reports and maintenance records in line with IEC, IEEE, and NETA standards.
• Follow permit-to-work, LOTO, and arc-flash safety procedures, and keep test equipment calibrated.
