Job summary

hudsonmanpower is seeking an Electrical Technician for its Maintenance / Operations team. The role involves preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance of electrical equipment to ensure safe, reliable plant operations.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, installation support, and adherence to safety standards. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with motors, panels, switchgear, and testing equipment, and can work under safety rules and in collaboration with maintenance

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as an Electrical Technician.
• Experience in industrial, oil & gas, power plant, or petrochemical environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical systems including motors, panels, transformers, switchgear, MCCs, and control circuits.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults in low voltage and medium voltage systems to minimize downtime.
• Assist in installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical equipment and systems.
• Follow electrical safety procedures, lockout/tagout (LOTO), and permit-to-work systems.
• Record maintenance activities, inspections, and fault rectifications in maintenance logs or CMMS systems.
