Job summary

Siraty is seeking an Electrical Technician - Maintenance for the Oman Pool project based in the UAE. The role focuses on electrical installation, repair, maintenance and troubleshooting of machinery and equipment to minimize downtime, while complying with EHS guidelines.

Responsibilities include handling LV/MV motors, switchboards, MCCs, transformers, UPS, VFDs, and routine preventive maintenance; using SAP to order parts and record work; training junior staff; and suggesting design or process

Qualifications

Diploma in relevant field.
PEC Craft Training.
3 years’ of relevant experience in a heavy industry after Diploma.

Responsibilities

Attends to electrical equipment breakdowns including LV/MV motors, LV Switchboards, MCCs, Plant lightings, Transformers, UPS, VFD, Breakers, Soft starter, etc.
Carries out planned/preventive/predictive maintenance with minimum direction and supervision.
Diagnoses electrical breakdowns/failures and troubleshoots plant electrical issues; orders spare parts via SAP.
Ensures maintenance work complies with safety procedures and plant requirements; documents work in SAP.
Provides knowledge to junior electricians and contractors; participates in EHS and 5S initiatives.
Assists other departments in repair and troubleshooting of equipment.
