Job summary

Thehseleader in Oman is seeking an EHS specialist to develop safe work methods, conduct risk assessments, and prepare project specific EHS plans. The role includes incident investigation, audits, and training to ensure legal compliance and customer requirements.

PPE availability and regular inspections are also emphasized. The ideal candidate will promote an EHS culture through campaigns and ensure continuous improvement across sites.

Responsibilities

• Developing Safe work method.
• Preparation of Hazards Identification and Risk Assessment (HIRA).
• Aspect Impact Study, Emergency Response Plan (ERP).
• Preparing Project specific EHS Plans.
• Investigating all serious incidents & initiate necessary corrective & preventive actions at sites and Analyse incident trends & initiate necessary Proactive measures at Project sites.
• Conducting Internal audit and identify Non - conformities and follow up for corrective action
• Review and monitoring EHS performance of sites including compliance to legal requirements
• Complying with contractual conditions & fulfilling customer requirements
• Identifying the training need, designing and imparting training for Staff, subcontractor, workmen, visitors and develop module
• Ensuring Quality of PPE its adequate availability at site.
• Knowledge of conduction regular/periodic inspection
• Promoting EHS culture through campaign & competition
