Job summary

National Oilwell Varco (NOV) seeks a Drilling Solution Engineer to provide expert technical support in drilling operations in Oman. You will analyze drilling data, optimize parameters, and develop comprehensive drilling plans with clients and internal teams.

Responsibilities include real-time monitoring, post-well analysis, and producing high-quality technical reports for management and clients. A Bachelor's in engineering and 2+ years in drilling are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in petroleum or mechanical engineering.
• Strong drilling fundamentals and optimization knowledge.
• Minimum 2 years' drilling or related oil/gas experience.
• Experience with drilling software and data analytics.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to develop drilling solutions.
• Analyze and optimize drilling parameters for efficiency.
• Monitor operations and provide on-rig technical support.
• Prepare technical reports and driving project plans.
