Job summary

GBC Development is looking for a design leader in Muscat, Oman, responsible for overseeing all design disciplines across various projects. Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in architecture or a related field, along with 15 years of experience and a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.

The position entails leading multi-disciplinary teams, ensuring compliance with codes, and integrating sustainability into designs. This is a critical role that supports large-scale community developments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of experience in a similar role with at least 5 years in a leadership position.
• Experience in large-scale real estate developments.
• Ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams effectively.

Responsibilities

• Overall design leadership for the Development function.
• Ensure compliance with local and international codes.
• Lead and coordinate multi-disciplinary consultants and internal teams.
• Monitor consultants’ progress and compliance of deliverables.
• Provide coaching and mentorship to reporting staff.
