Job summary

Larsen & Toubro in Oman is looking for an engineer to develop, review, and support offshore modular fabrication projects. You will prepare and review design and fabrication drawings, ensuring compliance with project specifications and international codes. • Develop GA drawings, shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and as-built documentation.
• Ensure all designs comply with project specifications and international standards.
• Coordinate with fabrication, production, QA/QC, and planning teams.
• Participate in constructability reviews and value engineering exercises.

Purpose of the Role

To develop, review, and support engineering design deliverables for offshore modular fabrication projects, ensuring compliance with project specifications, international codes, constructability, and fabrication yard requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review design and fabrication drawings for offshore modules, including:
  • Structural steel modules
  • Skids, frames, decks, and pipe racks
• Develop GA drawings, shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and as-built documentation.
• Ensure all designs comply with project specifications, client requirements, and applicable international standards.
• Coordinate closely with fabrication, production, QA/QC, and planning teams to ensure design constructability and minimize site issues.
• Participate in constructability reviews and value engineering exercises.
