Context & Environment

TotalEnergies and Saudi Aramco are developing a new petrochemicals expansion project in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia integrated with their existing joint venture SATORP (62.5% Saudi Aramco / 37.5% TotalEnergies) that is a world‑class refinery operated since 2014. It is flagship megaproject for the two Companies, referred to as AMIRAL project, and is an important deployment step in the group strategy to develop fully integrated production sites.

The AMIRAL project is a highly complex petrochemicals program including multi EPCC packages, connected to the SATORP refinery and interfacing with several downstream new investors and several third‑party stakeholders located in the industrial area Jubail 1&2 and King Fahd Industrial Port. The project includes a mixed‑feed steam cracker that will produce 3.5 MT/y of chemicals, related high added value petrochemicals and HDPE units, with all supporting utilities, storages, off‑sites, and buildings. The overall CAPEX of the project is > $ 10.0 Bn.

The execution of the packages (EPCC Lump Sum Contracts) is supervised by the shareholders through an integrated project management team (PMT) staffed by secondees from TotalEnergies, Saudi Aramco, and external supplemental employees handling all aspects of project management and execution. The PMT is divided into a general entity and EPCC packages with PMT representatives overseeing EPCC Contractor activities. The PMT team is based in Jubail industrial area, adjoining the construction site.

Data Stewards are part of the Engineering Core Team (ECT), part of the PMT general entity. ECT includes specialists the main project engineering disciplines, supporting the project organization in the EPCC packages in all technical matters including HSE, engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, delivery of the Amiral Digital Twin etc… Data Stewards report to the Amiral Digital Officer.

Qualifications

Education and experience

Engineering, data management, information systems, maintenance, operations or a related technical qualification.

Oil and Gas, petrochemical or major capital-project experience involving engineering data and technical databases.

Experience with engineering authoring tools, EDMS, completion/commissioning systems, CMMS, maintenance or production databases.

Technical capabilities

Strong Microsoft Excel capability for cleansing, reconciliation, formulas, queries and controlled bulk files.

Ability to prepare dashboards and visual reporting using Power BI or equivalent tools.

Practical understanding of data quality, data models, master/reference data, metadata, lineage and controlled exchange.

Experience with AVEVA, Hexagon, Navisworks, engineering databases or Digital Twin platforms is an advantage.

Ability to interpret engineering lists, tagging specifications, data requirements and contractor deliverables.
