Job summary

OTTCO seeks a Panel Operator to perform safe, orderly control of flow, pressure and rate at assigned sites (Muscat / Ras Markaz / Duqm). The role focuses on monitoring, troubleshooting and recording operational data while adhering to SOPs, HSE standards and company policies.

You will work under the Shift Operation Supervisor, covering handovers, start-ups/shutdowns, and emergency procedures, with responsibilities across field and control room tasks.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Petrochemical or Oil/Gas (or equivalent) required.
• Excellent written and spoken English; Arabic desirable.

Responsibilities

• Operate and regulate panel controls for flow, pressure and rate.
• Monitor process using DCS and adjust parameters as needed.
• Record shifts notes, incidents and deviations for continuity.
• Coordinate with Shift Team Leader during turnarounds and emergencies.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, HSE standards and company policies.
• Provide input for weekly/monthly area reports as required.
• Maintain awareness of environmental, health and safety risks and procedures.
