Job summary

NES Fircroft in Oman seeks a senior procurement and supply chain lead for the construction phase of our energy projects. You will oversee procurement, logistics, and delivery of wind, solar, BESS, and HV equipment to site on time and within budget.

The role requires 8+ years in energy infrastructure procurement, strong EPC contract knowledge, and proven vendor management across GCC or Africa. Local experience and ERP system proficiency are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in construction procurement and supply chain, including supervising logistics on large energy or infrastructure projects.
• Hands-on experience procuring and delivering major equipment for utility-scale wind, solar, BESS, or power projects.
• Strong knowledge of EPC and supply contracts (FIDIC or equivalent), Incoterms, customs, and heavy-lift logistics.
• Proven negotiation, vendor management, and cost control capability; experience in the GCC and/or Africa.

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement, supply chain, and logistics for construction phase from contract award through delivery to site.
• Ensure major equipment arrives on time, to spec, and within budget.
• Manage EPC contracts and liaise with vendors and contractors.
• Monitor cost control and supplier performance across projects in GCC/Africa.

Ensures wind turbines, PV modules, BESS, HV equipment, and balance-of-plant materials arrive on time, to specification, and within budget for the current portfolio and all future projects moving into execution.

Qualifications & Experience Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in construction procurement and supply chain, including supervising logistics on large energy or infrastructure projects.
• Hands-on experience procuring and delivering major equipment for utility-scale wind, solar, BESS, or power projects.
• Strong knowledge of EPC and supply contracts (FIDIC or equivalent), Incoterms, customs, and heavy-lift logistics.
• Proven negotiation, vendor management, and cost control capability; experience in the GCC and/or Africa.

Preferred

• CIPS, CSCP, or equivalent professional certification; postgraduate qualification in supply chain or business.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP or Oracle) and working with Chinese and European OEMs; Arabic language skills an advantage.
