Job summary

Saudi Telecom Company in Oman seeks a Compliance Analyst to support Carrier & Wholesale Unit regulatory activities and act as a coordination point between C&W and Corporate Regulatory & Compliance functions for applicable regulations and internal requirements.

You will assist in assessing, monitoring, and reporting compliance findings, tracking gaps, developing corrective actions, and ensuring timely closure with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Business Administration or Law is required.
• 0–2 years of relevant experience in compliance, regulatory affairs, governance, risk management, internal controls, or related functions.
• Experience in telecommunications industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Corporate Regulatory & Compliance and C&W stakeholders on internal and external compliance requirements.
• Support regular reporting of compliance activities, findings and non-compliance issues.

The role holder is responsible for supporting Carrier & Wholesale Unit compliance activities and acting as a coordination point between C&W and Corporate Regulatory & Compliance functions for applicable regulations and internal and external compliance requirements. The role holder supports the assessment, monitoring, tracking, and reporting of compliance requirements and findings, and coordinates with relevant stakeholders to ensure timely closure of identified compliance gaps. The role holder shall carry out duties in accordance with the stipulated business policies and procedures.

Job Responsibility

Core Responsibilities

• Coordinate with stc Corporate Regulatory & Compliance functions and relevant C&W stakeholders regarding applicable internal and external compliance requirements.
• Support regular reporting of C&W compliance activities, findings, and non-compliance issues related to applicable laws, regulations, policies, and internal requirements.
• Collaborate with Corporate Ethics & Compliance to provide required inputs, information, and reports supporting the annual compliance plan and compliance assessment activities related to C&W.
• Support the identification of compliance gaps and coordinate with relevant owners in developing corrective actions and mitigation plans related to policies, procedures, processes, frameworks, and systems.
• Log, maintain, monitor, and track reported or identified compliance findings and follow up with relevant owners to ensure timely closure.
• Prepare periodic compliance status reports and **escalate** overdue or significant compliance matters to the line manager and relevant compliance functions.
• Coordinate requirements and regulations received from Corporate Regulatory & Compliance with concerned departments and functions within C&W.
• Review new compliance requirements and regulations to assess their relevance and applicability to the Carrier & Wholesale Unit.
• Support the review of regulatory requirements and upcoming regulations from a C&W perspective by coordinating with relevant owners and Regulatory Affairs stakeholders.
• Participate in meetings, workshops, and assessment sessions with relevant stakeholders to collect inputs, clarify compliance requirements, and monitor required actions.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of compliance requirements, assessments, findings, corrective actions, mitigation plans, and closure evidence.
• Support compliance awareness and communication activities across C&W to promote adherence to applicable policies, regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Perform other responsibilities and tasks related to the job as directed by the line manager.

Nature of Experience

Prior experience in compliance, regulatory affairs, governance, risk management, internal controls, or related functions, preferably in the telecommunications industry.
