Purpose of the Role

Ensuring compliance within KR and its Group Companies

Educational Qualification

Minimum qualification: Bachelor in law

Experience

3-6 years of compliance legal experience in reputed law firms or commercial companies, with expertise in various verticals of legal matters. Practice in compliance is mandatory.

Preferred Experience

• Hands‑on experience in the compliance areas of commercial, labour, and criminal compliance activities and establishing systems and processes for business conduct within the parameters of laws of the land.

Key Accountabilities

• Represent the company in all concerned government departments and provide effective results in favor of the company in terms of cost and time perspective.
• Provide legal/compliance timely opinions to the company.
• Assist the HOD in legal matters/compliance, research, prepare notes and newsletters, and draft various memos to civil and criminal, commercial, labour, and other matters connected to the company.
• Advise on opinions, regulations and compliance; extract Royal Decree’s/regulations for the company.
• Follow up with external law firms/attorneys, KR retainers and coordinate work connected to the company's affairs.
• Coordinate/attend meetings with KR clients/customers related to case discussion, negotiation, and similar work for the company.
• Update the HOD from time to time on matters related to compliance.
• Any other work assigned by management.
