• Experience in chemical, petrochemical, Chlor-Alkali, or continuous process plants.
• Experience with rotating and static equipment, plant utilities, maintenance planning, and shutdown management.
• Knowledge of SAP PM/CMMS, reliability engineering, and maintenance budgeting.
• Proven leadership and team management capabilities.
• Strong English communication and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

Our client, an established industrial manufacturing company in Oman, is seeking an experienced Chief Engineer to lead plant maintenance, engineering operations, equipment reliability, and technical teams.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in chemical manufacturing, petrochemical, Chlor-Alkali, or continuous process plant environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical, electrical, utilities, and plant maintenance operations.
• Manage preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities.
• Ensure reliability of rotating equipment, static equipment, and plant utility systems.
• Oversee plant shutdowns, equipment troubleshooting, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and reliability improvement initiatives.
• Manage maintenance budgets, spare parts, contractors, and technical procurement.
• Implement maintenance planning and reporting through SAP PM or CMMS.
• Supervise engineering modifications, equipment upgrades, and maintenance projects.
