Hilton Luxor Resort & Spa seeks a cluster chief engineer to lead and develop the engineering team, ensuring high-quality guest experiences through reliable building performance and proactive maintenance.
You will manage budgets, oversee preventive maintenance, and drive safety, compliance, and sustainability initiatives across all facilities. This role requires experience in hospitality engineering and the ability to coordinate with operations and commercial teams.

As a cluster chief engineer, you’re not just overseeing physical building and systems maintenance and repairs – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.
Team member: Support the director of engineering in leading, developing, and motivating the engineering team through clear supervision, coaching, and performance support. Assist in delivering technical, compliance, and leadership development across the engineering function. Reinforce a safety-first culture, ensuring compliance with Hilton standards, risk requirements, and all legal and regulatory obligations.
Customer: Support reliable building performance to ensure high-quality guest experience across all facilities. Act as an escalation point for complex engineering issues impacting guests, operations, or service continuity, as directed by the director of engineering. Work closely with operations and commercial teams to coordinate engineering delivery in support of business and guest priorities.
Owner: Assist in the preparation of annual engineering budgets and capital expenditure plans, including technical input and ROI support. Support the execution of preventive maintenance, asset protection, and room care programmes to maximize asset lifecycle and minimize risk. Monitor building systems, utilities, and plant performance, escalating trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
Community: Support Hilton sustainability, ESG, and energy-reduction initiatives through effective engineering practices and operational controls. Assist in building strong working relationships with owners, contractors, authorities, and regional engineering teams. Promote a culture of collaboration, integrity, and corporate responsibility within the engineering function and wider hotel community.
