Job summary

Hilton Luxor Resort & Spa seeks a cluster chief engineer to lead and develop the engineering team, ensuring high-quality guest experiences through reliable building performance and proactive maintenance.

You will manage budgets, oversee preventive maintenance, and drive safety, compliance, and sustainability initiatives across all facilities. This role requires experience in hospitality engineering and the ability to coordinate with operations and commercial teams.

Qualifications

• Degree in mechanical, electrical, or building services, or equivalent qualification.
• Experience in senior engineering or cluster chief engineer roles; hospitality preferred.
• Ability to obtain local licenses; CPR/First Aid preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and motivate the engineering team through supervision, coaching, and performance support.
• Deliver technical, compliance, and leadership development across engineering; reinforce safety-first culture.
• Support reliable building performance; act as escalation point for complex issues impacting guests/operations; coordinate with operations and commercial teams.
• Assist in annual engineering budgets and capex; support preventive maintenance, asset protection and room care programmes.
• Promote sustainability, ESG, and energy-reduction initiatives; build relationships with owners, contractors, authorities.
