Job summary

PayTech Nexus Ltd is seeking a Card Compliance Officer in Muscat, Oman for a 6-12 month term within the Card Services Department. The role ensures end-to-end compliance with client card payment schemes and regulatory requirements, and leads card compliance projects to minimize risk.

You will collaborate with Operations, IT, Risk, Legal, and Vendors, deliver audits, monitor scheme changes, and provide advisory support on new initiatives while maintaining thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline.
• 10-15 years of experience in card services, payments, compliance, or operations.
• Hands-on experience managing card scheme mandates and compliance projects.
• Experience supporting regulatory audits and scheme assessments.
• Professional certifications in payments, compliance, or project management are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Ensure full compliance with client operating regulations, manuals, and compliance programs.
• Monitor scheme bulletins, mandates, and rule changes; assess impact and drive implementation.
• Act as the primary liaison with client on compliance matters, audits, and investigations.
• Manage responses to scheme audits, inquiries, and compliance monitoring programs.
• Lead and manage card compliance projects; develop plans, timelines, and deliverables.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution.
