Job summary

OQ Chemicals in Ṣuḥār, Oman, is seeking a Capability Development Coach to design and deliver development programs for Assets Management staff, acting as SME for capability development and coordinating with line managers, Training Department and external providers.

Responsibilities include needs assessment, development planning, coaching, training facilitation, and monitoring of progress, with emphasis on safety, operations knowledge, and leadership culture; strong English skills required; Arabic

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent with two of the listed certifications.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, Coaching certificates, Train the trainer are preferred.
• Excellent command of English; Arabic desirable for this role.

Responsibilities

• Needs assessment: identify strengths, weaknesses, and development areas.
• Development planning: create Individual Development Programs with line managers and Training Department.
• Coaching: guide individuals and teams; provide feedback and identify improvement opportunities.
• Training facilitation: deliver hands-on sessions and assess training effectiveness.
• Monitoring and evaluation: track progress and adapt plans; produce weekly/monthly reports.
