Job summary

EventMakers Entertainment is seeking an Assistant Baker for our bakery in Salalah, Oman. You will work with the Head Baker to prepare and bake a variety of breads, pastries, and other goods. A background in bakery settings and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are preferred.

Freshers with passion for baking are welcome; English fluency is required. The position is open to both full-time and part-time candidates.

Qualifications

• Prior bakery experience preferred.
• Ability to read and follow recipes accurately.
• Physically fit and able to stand for long periods.
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Assist with doughs and batters for breads and pastries.
• Operate ovens, mixers and proofing cabinets.

As an Assistant Baker you will work alongside our Head Baker to assist with the preparation and baking of a variety of breads, pastries and other baked goods. The ideal candidate should have some experience in a bakery setting and must be able to work well in a fast-paced environment. • Assist with the preparation of doughs and batters for various baked goods
• Operate baking equipment such as ovens, mixers and proofing cabinets
• Follow recipes accurately to ensure consistency and quality of products
• Decorate cakes and pastries as needed
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the bakery
• Communicate effectively with team members and follow instructions from Head Baker

Requirements

• Prior experience working in a bakery or food production environment preferred
• Knowledge of different types of breads, pastries and baked goods
• Ability to read and follow recipes accurately
• Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods of time
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work quickly under pressure

Salary

1700$ per month negotiable based on experience
