Job summary

Renardet SA & Partners is seeking an experienced Architectural Engineer to support the design and delivery of a utility-scale Solar IPP project. The role emphasizes architectural design, coordination with civil, structural, electrical and mechanical disciplines, and technical review of buildings and ancillary facilities.

You will develop and review designs, coordinate O&M and administration buildings, review drawings and submittals, ensure compliance with building codes, fire and life-safety

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience in power plants, Solar PV/IPP, industrial or major development projects is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of architectural design, materials, finishes and construction methods.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit/BIM.
• Experience reviewing construction drawings, shop drawings and submittals.
• Strong coordination and communication across multidisciplinary teams.
• Professional registration/certification is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Review contractor submissions, RFIs, method statements and material proposals.
• Support the project team during construction, testing, commissioning and handover.
• Ensure architectural works meet project quality, programme and contractual requirements.

The successful candidate will be responsible for architectural design, coordination and technical review of the project's buildings and ancillary facilities, working closely with civil, structural, electrical and mechanical and relevant disciplines. Further requirements for this position are as follows:

• Develop and review architectural designs, layouts, drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate the design of O&M buildings, control buildings, administration facilities, warehouses, security buildings and other ancillary facilities.
• Coordinate architectural requirements with civil, structural, electrical and mechanical disciplines.
• Review architectural drawings, shop drawings, material submittals and technical documentation.
• Ensure designs comply with applicable building codes, fire and life-safety requirements and local regulations.
• Participate in design reviews, technical meetings and construction coordination.
