Job summary

Community Care Trust in Whakatū Nelson is seeking a Team Leader for its Youth Services team. This hands-on leadership role works with Youth Support Workers to provide day-to-day guidance and ensure consistent, meaningful support for young people.

You’ll lead with warmth and integrity, manage on-call rosters, and help develop a strong, trauma-informed team culture while keeping safety and wellbeing at the centre of the service.

Qualifications

• Hold a full, current New Zealand driver licence.
• Have the legal right to work in New Zealand and hold an appropriate visa where required.
• Successfully complete our Police and Oranga Tamariki vetting requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day leadership to Youth Support Workers.
• Help create a positive team culture and ensure consistent, safe and meaningful support for young people.
• Lead and participate in an on‑call roster outside normal hours.
