Health New Zealand – Te Whatu Ora Te Toka Tumai Auckland is seeking a registered psychologist to join the Tū Māia Regional Youth Forensics Service in Greenlane. The role involves specialist psychological assessment and treatment for young people in the justice system, including court-referred reports and collaborative care with families, whanau and health professionals.

This permanent, full-time position offers a Monday–Friday work week at the Auckland site and requires registration with the NZ

Qualifications

• Registration with NZ Psychology Board as Registered Psychologist (Clinical Scope).
• Experience with children/adolescents or forensic assessment.
• Patient-centered approach to care.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Commitment to biculturalism.
• Hold a current NZ Driver's Licence.

Responsabilités

• Provide specialist psychological assessments for young people under Tū Māia.
• Deliver assessment and treatment using best practice principles; manage risk and caseloads.
• Develop and monitor treatment plans with service-users, families/whānau, and other health professionals.
• Collaborate with Taiohi Tu Taiohi Ora and Oranga Tamariki when needed.
