Job summary

Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora Te Tai Tokerau invites an experienced Registered Health Clinician to join the Youth Forensic team in Whangārei. You will work with young people involved in the youth justice system or at risk of offending, delivering integrated assessments, risk management and treatment plans in line with Youth Court requests and relevant psychosocial considerations.

The role is based at Manaia House in Whangārei, within Te Roopu Kimiora, and offers a permanent, full-time

Qualifications

• New Zealand registration and current practicing certificate with a relevant health qualification.
• Passion for working with young people and whānau, with Tikanga Māori awareness.

Responsibilities

• Provide integrated assessments and risk management for youth in the justice system.
• Develop and implement treatment plans considering psychosocial factors for rangatahi.
• Collaborate with the Youth Court to support youth wellbeing and development.
