Job summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly skilled teacher of Year 7 and 8. Experience or interest in mentoring boys and a primary teaching qualification would be advantageous.

You will have a passion for teaching and a sound knowledge of theNZ Curriculum to join our well-resourced and collegial Year 7 and 8 Department. An interest in student engagement, building relationships, blended learning and achievement is essential. An ability to teach curriculum levels 1-4 in literacy and numeracy is essential.

The successful applicant will be required to support the Special Character of the college, be committed to excellence, and participate in the school’s co-curricular programme. Position to commence Term 1, 2027.

The base salary for trained and registered teachers will range from $62,862 and top rate of $105,686 depending on applicant’s qualifications and experience. Individuals’ actual base salary will be established by a salary assessment once a role is confirmed. Hours of work will be as set out in the STCA.
