Job summary

OneSchool Global seeks a passionate Year 7/8 Teacher for the Maungaturoto Campus. This permanent, full-time role starts Term 1, 2027, or sooner where possible, offering a chance to shape students' educational journeys as they prepare for secondary education.

There may be an opportunity to lead the Campus Student Support Team for suitably experienced candidates.

Qualifications

• Must hold current NZ teacher registration and practising certificate.
• Eligible to work in New Zealand.
• Experience teaching Year 7/8 or a similar age group.
• Strong focus on active learning and critical thinking.
• Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across the school community.
• Experience in student wellbeing or pastoral care is advantageous.

We are seeking an inspiring and passionate Year 7/8 Teacher to join our Maungaturoto Campus. This is a permanent, full-time position, commencing Term 1, 2027, or sooner where possible.

This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact during a pivotal stage of students' educational journeys, helping them build confidence, independence, and a love of learning as they prepare for secondary education.

For suitably experienced candidates, there may also be an opportunity to lead the Campus Student Support Team as an additional responsibility.
