Job summary

Farm Cove Intermediate is seeking an energetic Certificated teacher to join our Years 1–8 programme and lead learning across English, Health and physical education, maths, science, social sciences, technology, te reo Māori and The arts.

You will thrive in a collaborative team, build strong relationships with students and families, and be ready to contribute to extracurricular opportunities that make intermediate schooling unique.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in a collaborative teaching team in a New Zealand intermediate setting.
• Strong, authentic relationships with students, families and colleagues are essential.

Responsibilities

• Teach Year 7 and 8 learners across the NZ curriculum including English, Health and physical education, Mathematics and statistics, Science, Social sciences, Technology, The arts and te reo Māori.
• Contribute to pastoral care and student wellbeing.
• Engage in extracurricular opportunities that support intermediate schooling.
• Bring current New Zealand classroom experience to the role.
